Sheffield Hallam University use Identity Merchandise Ltd to deliver a warm welcome and delight new students

It’s been a rough time for this year’s A-Level results students – no actual exams, no leaving celebrations, no university open days. Leaving them with an uncertainty of what life would be like if they did attend university.

‘How do you improve the situation for new students and make sure they feel truly welcome and involved in their new university life?’

Working with Identity Merchandise Ltd, the 5-star QS rated Sheffield Hallam University organised for thousands of branded welcome packs to be individually delivered directly to the doors of all new Sheffield Hallam University students.

The packs contained branded goodies such as travel mugs, bags, hats and more.

Identity Merchandise LTD headed the project from supply of all of the branded merchandise to the packaging, collation and delivery. There was no fuss and everything arrived on time.

Reactions

Students were delighted, social media went crazy and the University was recognised as a pro-active, fast-moving establishment with their students’ well being at the heart of what they do.

An ambitious project but worth it for the reaction from students, who felt part of Team Hallam from the moment they knew they would be studying at Sheffield Hallam University.
